RTTS – 007 6 nights AMBOSELI/NAIVASHA/MAASAI MARA

Day 1
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you are received by our client service representative who guides you to our Vans/Buses for a transfer to the hotel for Dinner/Briefing session and overnight accommodation.

Day 2 – Amboseli.
Depart Nairobi after Breakfast driving on tarmac through the Athi and Kaputei plains on Namanga Road. You branch of at the border town at Namanga to an all weather road leading you to the Amboseli National Park which is one of the most popular tourist destination in Kenya. You will check into Oltukai lodge for lunch and relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is considered a favourite spot for writers such as Ernest Hemmingsway. Its incomparable beauty and ample widlife makes it a definite visit for all tourists The diversity of Amboseli’s ecosystem has created a perfect environment for hundreds of bird species and large game.

Its major attractions are the “big Five” Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. The park rests at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro.Writers have described the lodge and the surrounding Amboseli with its unique wildlife as “a home for the Gods” Cynthia Moss the internationally renown authority on elephant behavior and ecology describes the Amboseli as “still a haven for elephants probably the only place like it in the world”. Dinner /entertainment/overnight accommodation at the lodge.

DAY 3 – Game drives.
This morning you conduct two extensive game drives in this photogenic park (cameras at the ready) as you enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. In between the game drives you will have lunch and relax in the lodge. Swimming, games etc. In the evening you have dinner /entertainment and overnight accommodation at the lodge.

Day 4 – Nairobi / Naivasha
This morning after breakfast you will check out of the lodge to start your journey back to Nairobi. Game viewing enroute you will reach Nairobi in time for lunch before proceeding to lake Naivasha’s Sopa lodge. You check into the hotel and proceed either to hell’s gate for a view of herbivores like Zebras, antelopes or other activities like bird watching /boat rides to crescent island. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the lodge.

Day 5 – Maasai Mara.
After breakfast in the morning you can opt for nature trail or a boat ride before you start your journey to the world famous Maasai Mara. You enjoy beautiful sceneries including the Escarpments Rivers and forests before crossing the vast Loita Plains ready to enter the most popular wildlife destination in Kenya. You check into the Hotel for lunch before enjoying an evening game drive. Our driver guides help you spot the animals easily. Return to the lodge before dusk for Dinner/entertainment by Maasai Dancers and overnight accommodation.

Day 6 – Game Drives (Ballooning option available)
Today you enjoy two extensive game drives in this extensive park. One in the morning and another in the evening. Have lunch and relaxation in lodge in between the game drives – swimming, sunbathing etc.

This park is famous for its astounding amount of wildlife – lions, cheetahs, zebras, Gazelles, buffalos, Elephants, hyenas etc. If your Safari falls between July – September, check out for the annual wild beast migration which is the greatest event that Kenya has to offer. Millions of wildebeests migrate from the Serengeti (Tanzanian extension of the Mara) to the Mara in search of greener postures. There are as many tourists as the animals at this period.

Dinner/entertainment /overnight accommodation at the lodge.

Day 7 – Maasai Mara / Nairobi/ Carnivore / Departure
After one more game drive in the morning you go back the lodge for breakfast and check out. Game viewing enroute. Your may visit (optional) a Maasai village on the way to see Maasai Manyattas, buy curios or even enjoy a traditional dance. You will reach Nairobi in time for lunch. The afternoon may be spent shopping/relaxing and a brief city tour before going to the world famous carnivore restaurant for a farewell dinner in the evening .You will then be transferred to the Airport to take you flight back home.
